The Centrix Collection

Watches from Rado are known across the globe for innovative technologies and the use of advanced materials. Rado designs are characterised by clear lines and simplistic shapes and have been known to renounce any form of superfluous decoration. With a continuous strive for perfection; Rado has developed first-class timepieces that meet the highest standards. The Schlup brothers established the cornerstone of the company in 1917 in Lengnau, Switzerland. Initially, the company flourished with the production of ébauche movements, meaning that they only produced watch movements that they would then sell to watch manufacturing companies. Gradually, Rado focused on the manufacture of timepieces themselves, and always placed an emphasis on the use of innovative materials such as hardmetal, sapphire, ceramics, and even high-tech diamonds. Throughout the years, Rado has contributed greatly to the field of pioneering watch materials.

Quality materials and minimalist designs can be discovered in the Rado Centrix. As the name suggest, the Centrix timepieces exemplify a perfectly unaltered circle. The Swiss company once again proves in unremitting innovative spirit with the Rado Centrix. The collection is presented in two main lines – the Centrix Ceramic and Centrix Steel. Evidently, while the Centrix Ceramic is made out of a robust high-tech ceramic material, the Centrix Steel is presented in a sleek and classic stainless steel material.

Refined from the inside out, the Rado Centrix models are provided with either a mechanical or quartz movement. A popular model from the collection is the Rado Centrix Quartz S (Ref. 111.0928.3.012) that radiates elegance and clarity and acts as a luxurious piece of jewellery on the wrist. At the heart of this timepiece ticks a reliable quartz movement, which is enclosed in a sleek stainless steel case. Furthermore, the timepiece is paired with a fitting metal case further enhancing the cool appearance of the Rado Centrix watch.

The Rado Centrix Quartz L (Ref. 115.0554.3.071) also radiates restraint and a subtle simplicity. The robust yet elegant 38-millimeter stainless steel case has been treated with a PVD coating and is finished with a rose-gold colouring. At the centre of the timepiece ticks a precise quartz movement. Furthermore, the Rado Centrix Quartz L is fitted with a sleek black dial that is further complemented by rose-gold coloured hands. Matched to the case and the dial of the timepieces is a comfortable stainless steel bracelet that is comprised of black high-tech ceramic and PVD coating in a rose-gold colour.Additional pieces from the Centrix Collection that are highly sought out include the very popular Centrix S Quartz Jubilé or quartz chronograph Edition Centrix Quartz Chronograph (Ref. 542.0130.3.015) that enables accurate time measurements up to 1/10th of the second.

Coupole and Coupole Classic

A highly unique model from the Rado Centrix collection is the Rado Coupole, which was the first timepiece to be introduced with a dome-shaped sapphire crystal. In 1987, the first Coupole was introduced to the market and was instantly admired by watch connoisseurs worldwide.

Both men and women alike can adorn the Rado Coupole. The timepiece convinces with a classic round dial that is protected by a curved sapphire crystal and distinctive lugs. The timepiece can also act as an elegant piece of jewellery and is a reliable companion for the everyday.

The Coupole Classic, however, presents an interesting fusion of modernity elements with a retro-vintage feel.
