In the spirit of sustainability
With the Submersible eLab-ID (PAM01225), Panerai 2021 introduced a diver's watch limited to 30 pieces, which is made of 98.6 per cent recycled raw materials. As sustainability and environmental friendliness become increasingly important topics in the luxury segment as well, the Submersible eLab-ID is one of the most significant pioneers in the watch industry.
The 44-millimetre case, sandwich dial and bridges are made of the recycled titanium alloy EcoTitaniumTM. This is an aerospace-quality alloy. The luminous material and the silicon for the lever escapement are also made of 100 per cent recycled materials. The Submersible eLab-ID is an uncompromising toolwatch: the grey-blue PAM01225 is water-resistant up to 300 metres, has a reliable luminous material and features the classic Submersible case.
Panerai Luminor Marina eSteel
With the Luminor Marina eSteel, the manufacturer intends to establish sustainable luxury watches. Like the eLab ID, the eSteel version is dedicated to sustainability and recycling. The model consists of 58.4 percent recycled materials. Panerai is launching a total of three different colours of the Luminor Marina eSteel:
- Blu Profondo (Blue, PAM01157)
- Verde Smeraldo (Green, PAM01356)
- Grigio Roccia (Grey, PAM01358)
The 300-metre water-resistant Luminor Marina eSteel comes in a 44-millimetre Luminor 1950 case, a small seconds at nine and a date window at three o'clock.
