Rumors about the discontinuation of the Rolex Tiffany

The Watches & Wonders watch fair will take place this year from 27.03. to 02.04. and is already causing a lot of stir in the watch scene. Especially the rumours about the possible discontinuation of the Rolex Oyster Tiffany are causing discussions and speculations. We take a closer look at the rumours and illuminate the background.
The Rolex Oyster Tiffany
This special version of the Oyster Perpetual Datejust was created in collaboration with the American jeweller Tiffany & Co. The watch has a distinctive turquoise dial that has made it a coveted collector's item since its introduction.
The end of an icon?
The rumours surrounding the Tiffany primarily involve speculation that this could be the last model in the collaboration between Rolex and Tiffany & Co. and thus will no longer be produced in the future. A discontinuation of the Tiffany would mean that production would be stopped and this watch would thus only be available on the second-hand market on a limited basis. For collectors and lovers of the watch, this could mean that the prices of the existing models will rise.
So far, neither Rolex nor Tiffany & Co. have officially confirmed that the Rolex Oyster Tiffany will actually be discontinued. So far, these are merely rumours and speculations. However, it is known that Rolex regularly takes models out of the range and replaces them with new watches. A discontinuation of the Rolex Oyster Tiffany would therefore not be unusual.
Should one still strike quickly?
Whether the Rolex Oyster Tiffany will actually be discontinued remains to be seen. However, it is not out of the question and the rumours are causing a lot of excitement in the world of luxury watches. Those who have had their eye on the watch for a while should therefore consider whether they still want to strike before possibly no more new models are produced.
