New edition of an icon
With the 2022 Navitimer, Breitling has succeeded in further improving the brand's greatest classic. In doing so, the watchmaker has not only focused on external features but has also optimised the manufacture calibre B01, which was first presented in the pilot's watch in 2009. The biggest surprise of the 2022 novelties is the logo on the dial, which is reminiscent of the first Navitimer models of the 1950s.
14 new variants for the Navitimer collection
For the 2022 model year, the Breitling innovations offer a total of 14 versions of the new Navitimer. The Manufacture's top model was presented in three different sizes:
- 41 mm
- 43 mm
- 46 mm
11 of the 14 models are available in stainless steel, and the other three versions are in 18-carat red gold. The model diversity of the Breitling 2022 novelties also continues with the dial colours: In addition to classic tones such as black, silver and dark blue, the company also offers you the Navitimer 2022 in light green, copper, ice blue and green. In addition to the seven-piece Navitimer bracelet made of metal, the new models are also available with a leather strap made of alligator leather. While earlier Navitimer variants came with a pin buckle, the 2022 watches have a high-quality folding clasp.
The AOPA wing logo returns
For the first time in over 60 years, the Navitimer 2022 is now available with the iconic wing logo of AOPA - the international pilots' organisation. This logo was only present on the first Navitimer models, exclusively issued to professional pilots through the AOPA. With the Breitling 2022 novelties, the historic logo returns - for the first time in applied form.
